The Osiris Trio proudly presents a new and exciting project “Senza Parole”.
We have asked composer / arranger, Bob Zimmerman to adapt famous opera arias for piano trio, giving us the opportunity to indulge in the magic world of opera.
Mr. Zimmerman arranged for us “classics” such as Verdi’s "Addio del passato", Donizetti’s "Una furtiva lagrima", Bizet’s "La fleur que tu m`a jetée" and the "Habanera", and many more.

Peter Brunt comes back in the Osiris Trio

Na een afwezigheid van vijf jaar keert violist Peter Brunt terug bij het Osiris Trio. Wegens toenemende agendadruk van de huidige violist Vesko Eschkenazy, concertmeester bij het Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest, is in goede overeenstemming besloten dat Vesko vanaf seizoen 2010-2011 niet langer verder gaat als violist van het trio.
Het Osiris Trio, opgericht in 1988, is inmiddels aan zijn 21ste seizoen bezig.
In 2006 besloot mede-oprichter Peter Brunt uit het trio te stappen om andere muzikale wegen in te slaan. Het Osiris Trio was`zeer verheugd dat Vesko Eschkenazy zijn plaats wilde innemen. Met Vesko als violist kon het trio zich verder ontwikkelen en de concertpraktijk in Nederland en daarbuiten verder verdiepen. Daarnaast werden twee zeer goed ontvangen CD`s geproduceerd.
De afgelopen jaren is er doorlopend muzikaal contact gebleven tussen het Osiris trio en Peter Brunt. Zijn terugkeer bij het trio maakt het mogelijk deze reeds zeer lang bestaande muzikale band intensief voort te zetten.

The Osiris Trio
AMSTERDAM, 19 September 2005
Violinist Vesko Eschkenazy (born in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1970), since 2000 concert master of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, will succeed Peter Brunt as the Osiris Trio`s violinist. Vesko Eschkenazy studied at the Bulgarian National Conservatory and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has been a laureate of many violin contests and was a soloist for many renowned orchestras where he played with conductors, such as Ricardo Chailly, Sir Colin Davis, Bernard Haitink, Kurt Masur, and many others, before becoming the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra`s concert master in 2000. Eschkenazy plays a 1738 Guarneri del Gesu violin.
2004-2005NOMINATIE
De klassieke muziekjury van de Vereniging van Schouwburg- en Concertgebouwdirecties (VSCD) heeft het Osiris Trio genomineerd voor de VSCD Klassieke Muziekprijzen 2004-2005 in de categorie "meest indrukwekkende prestatie van een (klein) ensemble/kamermuziek" en spreekt haar grote waardering uit voor de bijdrage die het trio dit seizoen levert aan de kwaliteit van de programma`s in de Nederlandse zalen. De nominatie getuigt van deze waardering. De jury bestaat uit Mathieu Heinrichs (voorzitter) Kees Vlaardingerbroek, Yvonne van den Berg, Mischa Spel en Sieuwert Verste
